Cellular (3G) configuration example on Cisco routers

Below is a sample of configuration a 3G router with Australia Telstra network :

Enable mode :
cellular 0 gsm profile create 1 telstra.corp chap <username> <password>

Config mode :
chat-script telstra “” “ATDT*98*1#” TIMEOUT 30 CONNECT

interface Cellular0
description Connection to Telstra 3G network
ip address negotiated
encapsulation ppp
dialer in-band
